We remember with respect, love, longing and gratitude…
On Friday, November 08, we once again commemorated the founder of our republic and our eternal leader Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk with deep respect, gratitude, and longing on the 86th anniversary of his passing away. Our ceremony started with a piano performance, “Atatürk’s Address to the Youth” and “Youth’s Answer to Ata” and continued with Atatürk’s favorite songs, Atatürk-themed poems, the school principal’s speech on the meaning and importance of the day and the performance of the school orchestra. At the end of the ceremony, the school community reaffirmed our commitment to the Republic, which Atatürk called “my greatest work”, and our determination to reach the level of modern civilizations in his footsteps.
