Three Religions Three Symbols Trip

On Tuesday, April 9, the Turkish – Social Department organized a trip to Balat with a project group of our 7th grade students to examine the notable landmarks of the Balat district, where many ethnic groups lived together with tolerance from the past to the present. Our students, who had a very educational and enjoyable time during the trip, which is associated with the global contexts of MYP “identities and relations, orientation in space and time,” visited the Bulgarian Church, Fener Greek High School, Aya Yorgi Church, Ahrida Synagogue and they gained important historical and cultural information about structures and societies.
