Support For TEGV- Don’t Waste, Donate Campaign

Our 7th grade students Eda Aktaş and Ada Kutsal started an E-Waste campaign as part of their Community Project to draw attention to the carbon footprint and raise awareness about the UN Sustainable Development Goal of “Responsible Production and Consumption”. “They took an important step towards supporting both nature and education by donating the electronic waste they collected in their community project with the slogan “Don’t Trash Our Future” to TEGV’s “Don’t Throw It Away, Donate It Campaign”. On Tuesday, April 4, our middle school students met with Murat Can Yokuş, the leader of TEGV’s ‘Don’t Waste, Donate’ Campaign, where they learned what electronic waste is, the recycling process of these wastes, the contributions of recycling to nature, economy and education, and found answers to the questions they were curious about.

They had a pleasant and educational meeting.
