Our 5th and 6th Grade Students Had an Unforgettable Conversation with the Author Vladimir TUMANOV.
Our 5th and 6th grade students, who enriched their imaginations with the books they read in Turkish lessons, “Saving the Queen” and “Lost on the Map,” came together with the author Vladimir Tumanov on Wednesday, January 15th at 19:00 in an online conversation and had an unforgettable experience. Reflecting our school’s mission of “educating individuals with an international perspective, respectful of different cultures, and multilingual,” this event allowed our students to not only directly communicate with the author but also develop the skills to express their thoughts confidently and creatively in different languages. Throughout the conversation, our students eagerly questioned the behind-the-scenes of the fantasy worlds in the books, learned how the journey of writing took shape, how characters were created by drawing inspiration from different emotions, and how imagination turned into an unlimited journey through literature. Tumanov expressed his admiration for the creative and insightful questions posed by our students, highlighting the strong imagination of young minds.
