IB MYP Community Project
Community Project Service enables students to make independent decisions about teamwork, deal with problems with confidence and think about their own actions. It helps them develop IB learner profile attributes, provides an important opportunity to demonstrate their ATL skills, and supports the development of independent, lifelong learning.
Our 7th grade students completed their MYP Community Projects they have started in September as a result of the meetings, studies and activities they carried out with their supervisors. After a challenging journey, our students presented 36 different projects to their friends, teachers and families on Saturday, May 4. At the end of the presentation, our middle school principal Selin KEBELİOĞLU and our MYP Coordinator Gamze KALE presented MYP Community Project certificates to all our students.
Our students, who have learned the importance of serving the community by reflecting on the community in which we live and taking responsibility through action and experience, have experienced the joy of using their own initiative to offer solutions to the needs they have identified.
