Discovering Myself: Skill Workshops
A study will be conducted by the Psychological Counseling and Guidance Department with the aim of helping our students become aware of how they perceive themselves and how they believe they are perceived by others. This study is among the routine practices recommended by the Ministry of National Education and is designed to support students in getting to know themselves better, gaining insight, and increasing awareness of their personal development. In addition, it aims to provide students with an opportunity to express their thoughts about themselves in a safe and supportive environment.
Based on the information obtained as a result of the implementation, small group activities may be planned, if deemed necessary, to support our students’ emotional and social development. These activities, consisting of three sessions, aim to strengthen students’ self-perception, enable them to express themselves in appropriate and safe ways, develop their communication skills, and support healthy boundaries and a sense of trust in peer relationships.
