Journey Through History: Dolmabahçe Palace

As part of our Social Studies course, we had an unforgettable learning experience by visiting Dolmabahçe Palace, one of the most significant architectural symbols of both the Ottoman and Republican periods, together with our 6th grade students. Our students closely examined the magnificent architecture of the palace, explored the rooms where Atatürk once lived, and experienced the historical atmosphere of the period firsthand. We had the opportunity to observe the changes in administrative structures before and after the establishment of the Republic, allowing students to make meaningful connections between historical events.
