Eskişehir–Ankara “Tribute to Atatürk” Trip

The “Tribute to Atatürk Trip,” held between October 10–12, 2025, along the Eskişehir–Ankara route, was completed as a meaningful experience that allowed our students to observe our historical and cultural heritage on site.

As part of the trip program, students visited Odunpazarı Houses, Meerschaum Workshops, the Glass Museum, and the Yılmaz Büyükerşen Wax Museum, gaining a closer understanding of Eskişehir’s cultural fabric. They also explored the historical atmosphere of the region at the Sivrihisar Clock Tower and Observation Terrace.

In Ankara, the program included visits to the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations and the First and Second Grand National Assemblies of Turkey, where students had the opportunity to see the foundational institutions of our Republic. The school group also took part in the official state ceremony at Anıtkabir, standing with a deep sense of respect for Atatürk and commitment to the values of the Republic.

Throughout the trip, students were guided by an expert tour guide and actively engaged in various observation and learning activities that enriched their understanding of history, culture, and national heritage.

This meaningful journey aimed not only to help students see historical landmarks but also to allow them to truly feel the founding spirit of the Republic and internalize their devotion to Atatürk. The shared experiences throughout the trip strengthened students’ sense of responsibility, teamwork, and value-driven thinking—transforming the journey into a heartfelt memory that transcended a typical learning activity.
