8th Grade Students Met with Author Tolga GÜMÜŞAY
Our author interviews organized to improve reading culture and increase interest in literature continue. On Tuesday, December 10, our 8th grade students had an interview with Tolga GÜMÜŞAY, the author of the book “Young Squared Stories”. This meaningful meeting was a great opportunity for our students to meet the author of the book they read and to ask questions about the stories and the writing process face to face. The event gave our students new perspectives on both the power of literature and creativity and imagination. During the interview, our students asked questions about the author’s writing process, the story characters and the themes of the book. They also received inspiring information about literature and authorship from Tolga GÜMÜŞAY. Another special aspect of the event was that our students wrote stories on the photographs they took themselves, inspired by the stories in the book “Young Squared Stories”. These stories, which will later be published in our school’s magazine “Mavi”, will allow our students to share their creativity with a wider audience. We are very happy to see that this special event had a positive impact on our students’ love of reading and their writing skills.
