7th grade Yeldeğirmeni – Mural field trip
As part of our “Art as Criticism” unit, conducted jointly in English and Visual Arts lessons, we organized a trip to Kadıköy – Yeldeğirmeni with our 7th-grade students. On this trip, our students explored the streets where murals by local and foreign artists are located. By examining the works on site, our students expanded their understanding of art and cultural expression. They also used their critical thinking skills to answer questions about the works.
