6th grade trip to İstanbul painting and sculpture museum
A trip was organized to the Istanbul Painting and Sculpture Museum, which houses Turkey’s first and most comprehensive collection of plastic arts, with our 6th-grade students. Within the scope of our unit, emphasis was placed on various types of artworks spanning from the 19th century to the late 20th century. Our students had the opportunity to broaden their knowledge and understanding of the art field by examining artworks in different genres at the exhibition, which aligns with the global context of our visual arts unit. Following the excursion, various activities were conducted in different subjects based on the artworks they examined.
