Established in Geneva, Switzerland in 1968 as a non-commercial institution, the International Baccalaureate System is now one of the most prominent and recognized education systems in the world. The International Baccalaureate aims to raise inquiring, knowledgeable and sensitive young people who want to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. The IB international education scale for 3 to 19 year olds is unique in its academic and personal discipline. The IB helps schools develop characterful and well-rounded students. The “Approaches to Learning” skills in the program are designed to help students become individuals who respond to challenges with optimism and open-mindedness, who are confident in their own identities, who make ethical decisions, who embrace their common humanity with others, and who are ready to apply what they have learned in the real world, in complex and unpredictable situations.
The IB offers high-quality international education programs that share a strong vision.

The IB Diploma Program (DP) was established in 1968 to provide an international education for young people to better understand and manage the complexities of our world, and to acquire the skills and behaviors necessary to take action and improve our world. Such an education was based both on the more innovative educational thinking of that period and on the belief that the world would be better through an education that focused on concepts, ideas and issues that crossed disciplinary, cultural, national and geographical boundaries.
With the introduction of the Middle Years Program (MYP) in 1994 and the Primary Years Program (PYP) in 1997, IB offered an international education process to students aged 3-19.
The presentation of the IB Career-Related Programme (IBCP) in 2012 furthered the process, creating international education pathways that students aged 16-19 can choose alongside the DP.
With this approach, one of the main goals of our school’s education is to provide opportunities that will help our students realize and develop their individual talents, and to teach them to associate their experiences and observations in the school environment with the realities of the world.
