A Journey Through Time and Culture: Barış Manço House

As part of our PYP unit “Where We Are in Place and Time,” our Kindergarten students embarked on a fascinating journey into the world of Barış Manço, a legendary figure in Turkish music and culture!

While exploring the Barış Manço House, our students did more than just travel back in time; they experienced firsthand the values of our cultural heritage, the unifying power of art, and the marks of history. Through the life and works of Barış Manço, our students had the opportunity to connect with their culture and sharpen their inquiry skills with curious questions. This meaningful trip, filled with both learning and nostalgia, has left a lasting impression on our students’ journey toward cultural awareness.
