A Magical IB PYP Day in Our Kindergarten!
Today, our little learners had a magical experience inspired by the IB PYP’s inquiry-based and transdisciplinary approach. Dressed in costumes and dancing through our imagination, we explored self-expression while supporting our emotional and social development.
Through themed line drawing activities, we enhanced our fine motor skills and engaged in a creative journey rooted in concept-based learning. As we followed the paths of castles during our “Royal Math” activities, we experienced learning across disciplines, blending math, art, and storytelling.
Our students also experimented with making their own “Royal Paint,” diving into a fun and artistic process that encouraged scientific thinking and creativity. Throughout the day, they embodied key attributes of the IB Learner Profile—becoming inquirers, thinkers, and communicators.
It was a day where every little queen and king had the opportunity to shine in their own unique way—celebrating imagination, curiosity, and the joy of learning.
