Workshop on Academic Integrity and the Use of Artificial Intelligence

4th grade students are analyzing the concept of academic honesty as part of the PYP Exhibition units. In this context, an interview titled “Use of Artificial Intelligence and Academic Integrity Policy” was organized by our classroom teacher Ms. Filiz Deniz Şahin. During the presentation, important topics such as theft, copyrights, bibliography and the use of the Turnitin program were discussed.

With the widespread use of artificial intelligence tools, it was emphasized that our students should use these technologies in an ethical and responsible manner; the necessity of citing sources correctly and not using ideas without permission was explained with examples.

These activities contribute to our students adopting the principles of academic honesty and exhibiting ethical behavior in digital environments. We would like to thank our teacher Ms. Filiz Deniz Şahin for this valuable contribution.
