VIII. Irmak Biennial Exhibition Opening and Concert

As Irmak Schools, we held the eighth edition of our Biennial event, which we began in 2010, this year once again with a magnificent exhibition and concert. During the Biennial, our students from different age groups interpreted the theme of “Journey” through various art disciplines such as painting, sculpture, and installation. The exhibited works prominently featured multi-layered narratives touching on concepts such as inner discovery, migration, time, space, and imagination.

Renowned Turkish artist Süleyman Saim TEKCAN also visited our exhibition, listened to the production processes of the artworks under the guidance of our students, and honored us with his presence. The Irmak Biennial Honorary Plaque prepared for him was presented by our esteemed Chairperson of the Board and Founding Representative, Ülkü ARIOĞLU.

Following the exhibition opening and cocktail reception, the Irmak Philharmonic Orchestra and Choir took the stage with an outstanding repertoire. Our students stepped into the enchanting world of opera and musicals, shining like stars on stage. The emotions poured into each note and word offered the audiencean unforgettable artistic experience. These special moments, where voices and melodies intertwined, once again revealed the power of music as a universal language.

The Irmak Biennial continues to be a platform where our students reveal their creative potential, experience artistic production processes, participate in art with courage, and create interdisciplinary works with intellectual depth. We thank all the students, teachers, parents, and art lovers who accompany us on this journey.
