Simla Sunay and 2nd Grade Students Explored the World of Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu!
On Thursday, January 9, our second-grade students and teachers came together for an enjoyable event. Children’s book author Simla Sunay introduced our students to Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu, a prominent figure in Turkish art, and gave a presentation about his artistic vision.
This event provided our students with the opportunity to explore their connection to society and discover ways to express themselves through art. Simla Sunay began the event by sharing information about Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu’s life and works, teaching the children to delve deeply into the artist’s paintings.
Following the presentation, Sunay encouraged the students to create their own artworks inspired by Eyüboğlu’s paintings, fostering their imagination. The event helped students express their creativity and strengthened their connection to art.
Throughout the event, our students had a delightful time exploring art and artistic expression from a fresh perspective.
