Interview with the Author of “Children Managing Their Money,” Özlem Özyurt
On Thursday, March 14th, our second-grade students participated in an interactive session with the author of “Parasını Yöneten Çocuklar” (Children Managing Their Money), Özlem ÖZYURT. Ms. ÖZYURT began the discussion by explaining the historical background of money.
Continuing her talk, Ms. ÖZYURT covered the importance of money, its various uses, income and expenses, budgeting, and digital currencies. She also provided insights into the design of money. Students designed their own currency and asked the author questions they were curious about.
