“Everything Begins in the Mind” with Mümin Sekman
At our school, author Mümin Sekman held an inspiring talk with our 3rd grade students titled “Everything Begins in the Mind.”
During the session, our students learned to think about thinking — becoming aware of how their own minds work.
Mümin Sekman explained that the brain governs not only knowledge but also emotions, dreams, and decisions, reminding children of the importance of understanding both their inner and outer worlds.
With his words, “Our thoughts shape our actions; our actions shape our future,” he encouraged students to reflect deeply on the power of thought.
Throughout the talk, students actively participated by sharing examples and expressing their own ideas.
This meaningful encounter offered our young thinkers the opportunity to explore the limitless power of the brain and to realize the connection between thinking and life itself.
