Artificial Intelligence Seminar
At the Artificial Intelligence seminar held at our school, our IB Coordinators provided our school community with comprehensive information about the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in education. While the seminar touched upon the basic concepts of AI and its applications in daily life, the question ‘Why should Artificial Intelligence be taught to students?’ emphasised its importance in developing our students’ skills such as critical thinking, problem solving and ethical responsibility. In addition, attention was drawn to the ethical and responsible use of AI tools in line with the IB’s principles of academic integrity. This seminar allowed our school community to explore how our school community can embrace this dynamic process while assessing the opportunities and challenges associated with integrating AI into educational settings. We will continue to take steps to understand the impact of AI in education and support our students to grow as future-ready individuals.
