April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children’s Day
On April 23, 1927, it was celebrated for the first time as “Children’s Day” under the auspices of the great leader Atatürk. April 23, a gift of Atatürk to the children, has been celebrated as “Children’s Day” for ninety-seven years. The students of Irmak Primary School, who have accepted this gift, enthusiastically participated in the April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s Day Ceremony. This ceremony was an impressive and wonderful experience for our students. After the ceremony, the handmade products created by our students were sold at the “Skill Workshops” stalls. The proceeds from these sales were given to the representative teachers to be used for social responsibility projects. We would like to thank all the parents who attended and supported this meaningful ceremony and our social responsibility project by sharing the same enthusiasm with us. Happy April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children’s Day to all the children of the world!
