Academic Integrity and the Use of Artificial Intelligence
At our school, a presentation on “Academic Integrity and the Use of Artificial Intelligence” was held for our 3rd grade students.
The presentation aimed to emphasize conducting research in line with ethical principles, presenting information accurately and reliably, and understanding the steps of the scientific research process. In addition, the use of Turnitin, copyright issues, and our school’s academic integrity policy were introduced, enabling students to gain awareness of the academic rules and responsibilities they may encounter during their research processes.
It was also highlighted that the goal is for students to acquire the ability to use new technologies consciously and responsibly in academic settings, and that these studies serve as an important preparation for the PYP Exhibition to be held at the 4th grade level.
In this meaningful process, where learning is strengthened through sharing, we would like to express our gratitude to our class teacher, Filiz Deniz Şahin, for her valuable contributions to the development of our students.
