Academic Honesty Workshop

“Our fourth-grade students engage in an in-depth exploration of the concept of academic integrity at the beginning of each year within the framework of the Little Curators project and the PYP Exhibition unit process. One aspect of these studies involves a discussion led by our teacher, Mrs. Filiz Deniz Şahin. During this discussion, our students learn about the scope of information theft, its reasons, how it can be prevented, and our responsibilities in this regard from Mrs. Filiz Deniz Şahin. They review examples related to the Turnitin program and proper citation. Throughout the session, they also receive answers to their inquiries regarding the topic. As in previous years, Mrs. Filiz Deniz Şahin has conducted activities this year as well to ensure our students internalize these concepts. We sincerely thank her for her invaluable contributions in this endeavor.
