“Author Talk with Sima Özkan – Soso’nun Kompost Kitabı”

Our first-grade students and teachers organized a talk with Sima ÖZKAN, the author of “Soso’nun Kompost Kitabı,” on Monday, February 16.

Within the scope of the PYP “How the World Works” unit, our students learned about the movements of the Earth and the effects of the seasons on people and natural life. During the talk, students observed different composting methods.

They also had the opportunity to brainstorm with the author about what can be done to protect our world as responsible individuals.
