Visit to the Şişli Atatürk House Museum

As we celebrate the 102nd anniversary of our Republic, our second-grade students visited the Şişli Atatürk House Museum during the first week of November, as part of the 10 November Commemoration of Atatürk Week activities.

This meaningful visit gave our students the opportunity to learn more about the life, ideas, and the founding period of the Republic led by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the Great Leader of our nation.

During the museum tour, students examined Atatürk’s personal belongings, clothes, and handwritten works. While tracing the marks of the period he lived in, they observed his foresight, determination, and love for his country through tangible examples.

Students recorded their observations in their field notebooks during the visit and later shared their reflections with their classmates, reinforcing what they had learned.

This trip helped our students gain a deeper understanding of Atatürk, appreciate the values of the Republic, and feel the meaning of November 10 more profoundly.
