Environmental Awareness and Reading Culture with Doğan Akdoğan
The 2nd and 3rd-grade students of Irmak Schools came together with author Doğan Akdoğan to read and discuss the books Environmental Heroes on the Quest for Recycling and Environmental Heroes on the Quest for Zero Waste. Based on the knowledge they gained from the books, our students had the opportunity to ask questions about environmental awareness, recycling, and zero waste. Throughout the discussion, they demonstrated their inquisitive and thoughtful nature, gaining valuable insights on becoming environmentally conscious individuals. We would like to thank Doğan Akdoğan for this productive meeting, which supported a reading culture and raised environmental awareness. We will continue organizing activities that enrich our students’ learning journey!
