4th Grade Dietitian Talk

Our fourth-grade students enriched their inquiry studies on healthy living and nutritional contents within the scope of our ‘Who We Are’ PYP inquiry unit by engaging in a discussion with dietician Ms. Eda Arslantaş. They learned how to select balanced foods from the protein, carbohydrate, and vitamin groups to create well-rounded plates, and discovered how to benefit from the rainbow diet technique. Together, they evaluated their choices based on examples from their own meal trays. They concluded that they should take more advantage of the salads and olive oil offered in our cafeteria.
