We celebrated March 18 Çanakkale Victory
The victories of Mustafa Kemal in the Çanakkale Front did not only have a profound effect on the course of a war, but it also affected the fate of an entire nation, which is a very rare event in history. As Irmak Schools, we have respectfully commemorated Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his comrades in arms, who fought with our heroic army on this historical day when the spirit of our national war of independence was born.
Our ceremony, which was presented by our students Lara GENÇ and Batu BAŞBUĞ, ended with the speeches of our History Teacher Ahmet DENİZ and Social Studies Teacher Ülkü DURMUŞ stating the meaning and importance of the day.
On this occasion, we once more commemorate our martyrs and veterans who risked their lives for the sake of our country in Çanakkale, on the 109th anniversary of the Çanakkale Victory, with respect, gratitude and mercy.
