IRMAKMUN’24 Successfully Concluded
We are delighted to announce the successful completion of IRMAKMUN’24, the first-ever Model United Nations conference hosted in the history of Irmak Schools. This landmark event took place from the 13th to the 15th of December 2024, marking a significant milestone in our institution’s commitment to fostering academic excellence, global awareness, and leadership among young minds.
Under the theme Stability & Youth Empowerment, IRMAKMUN’24 brought together 440 participants from 30 distinguished high schools across the region. The conference aimed to provide a platform for future leaders to engage in meaningful debates, explore solutions to pressing global issues, and hone their diplomatic and critical thinking skills.
Over the course of three days, our delegates showcased exceptional dedication, insightful perspectives, and collaborative spirit in a series of simulated committee sessions. Their discussions revolved around topics of paramount importance, reflecting the conference’s mission to empower the youth as key contributors to a more stable and sustainable world.
The success of IRMAKMUN’24 would not have been possible without the invaluable contributions of our organizing team, advisors, and student volunteers, whose tireless efforts ensured a seamless and enriching experience for all participants. We are also deeply grateful to the distinguished chairs, guest speakers, and attendees whose presence elevated the quality of this inaugural event.
