“Young Writers Portraying the Republic” Contest Results Announced
As part of the Republic Day celebrations on October 29, the Turkish, Turkish Language and Literature Departments held its annual competition, “Young Writers Portraying the Republic,” this year featuring four distinct categories.
At the Preparatory Level, students expressed their creativity through visual storytelling with the theme “The Republic in Images or Drawings.” At the Grade 9 Level, students collaboratively designed “Collages and Posters Reflecting the Values of the Republic.” Grade 10 students explored the theme “The Republic and Women” through poetry, while Grades 11 and 12 engaged in essay writing under the theme “The Republic and Freedom.”
Following the jury’s evaluation, the winners were announced as follows:
- Grade 5, Preparatory Level: Ela Deveci, Nilsu Öğücü
 - Grade 6, 9: Vedat Bilgiç, Serena Zorer
 - Grade 7, 10: Deniz Yılmaz, Ada Bengi
 - Grade 8, 11: Damla Yüce, Duru Mazlum
