YKS Information Session

An information session on the Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS) was held for our 11th and 12th grade students. During the session, comprehensive information was provided on the stages of the YKS, score types, the evaluation of achievement rankings, university and department selection processes, and preference strategies.

Current data regarding the 2026 YKS results and university placement process were also reviewed. The importance of taking a comprehensive approach to university and department selection was emphasized, with particular attention given to achievement rankings, quotas, program characteristics, and placement trends from previous years, rather than focusing solely on exam scores.

The session also included recommendations on planning the exam preparation process, setting goals, and developing effective study habits. Questions raised by the students were addressed throughout the session. The aim of this session was to help 11th grade students become familiar with the YKS system before entering 12th grade, while enabling 12th grade students to update their knowledge of the examination and university preference processes and plan their preparation more consciously and effectively.
