What is Philosophy? Why is it Necessary?

With the organization of the High School Social Sciences Department, Prof. Dr. Betül ÇOTUKSÖKEN, Faculty Member of Maltepe University; Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, met with our high school students within the scope of World Philosophy Day with a speech titled ‘What is Philosophy? Why is it Necessary?”. In the interactive event, ÇOTUKSÖKEN talked about philosophy’s orientation towards the relations between “human-world-knowledge”; In this way, she enabled our students to develop conscious perspectives on these issues by making expansions on “philosophy, human and its acquisitions” We thank her for her pleasant and inspiring presentation.
