Think Outside the box: Study Abroad
As Department of Psychological Counseling and Guidance, we successfully held our “Think Outside the box: Study Abroad” panel on Tuesday, December 30, 2025. During the panel, our alumni shared their knowledge and experiences with our students, creating an inspiring and meaningful meeting.
The aim of this event was to support our students as they shape their future paths by benefiting from the experiences, lived journeys, and diverse perspectives of our alumni—who once sat in the same classrooms and are now taking significant steps in their academic and professional lives. The sincere and insightful contributions of our alumni served as a strong source of motivation and valuable guidance for our students.
Within the scope of the panel, our alumni shared:
- Their post–high school transition processes to universities abroad and the awareness they gained throughout this journey,
- How they shaped their decisions to pursue education abroad during their high school years and the steps they followed,
- The opportunities offered by university life abroad, the challenges they encountered, and the contributions of these experiences to their personal development,
- Their recommendations and inspiring thoughts for students who wish to study abroad.
It was observed that this panel, enriched by the knowledge, experience, and vision of our alumni, made a significant contribution to helping our students plan their future goals more consciously and confidently.
As Department of Psychological Counseling and Guidance Department, we aim to continue organizing such events that support the academic and personal development of our students in the coming periods.
