There’s a Poem for You

As the High School Turkish Language and Literature Department, we celebrated World Poetry Day on March 21 by distributing poems!

On Tuesday, March 21, a group of students from our high school distributed poems compiled from famous poets of Turkish literature to the Irmak Family, which consists of students, teachers, administrators and employees of Irmak Schools, and to the Kadıköy residents of Bağdat Street, where we breathe the same air, saying “Today is March 21, World Poetry Day, there is a poem for you!”.

March 21 is the World Poetry Day, declared by UNESCO in 1999, whose goal is to “raise awareness and provide fresh energy to national, universal and regional poetry movements”.
