Outstanding Achievement of Our Student: Kemal Mete Akkaş
We are proud to announce that our 10th grade student, Kemal Mete Akkaş, has achieved remarkable success in two prestigious international competitions:
- 1st Place in the Kangaroo Science Competition, organized by the International Kangaroo Mathematics Association and held in 108 countries.
- 2nd Place in the Bebras Informatics and Computational Thinking Challenge, recognized worldwide for promoting algorithmic thinking and problem-solving skills.
These competitions are known for their creative, interdisciplinary, and academically challenging questions, prepared by field experts and educators from around the globe. Kemal’s outstanding performance is a testament to his dedication, talent, and problem-solving ability.
Representing Turkey on the Global Stage
As a result of his achievements, Kemal has been selected to join the national team representing Turkey at the International Artificial Intelligence Olympiad, to be held this year in China — an incredible opportunity to showcase his skills on a global platform.
Boğaziçi University Kangaroo Math Summer Camp
In addition, Kemal has earned a spot in the Boğaziçi University Kangaroo Math Summer Camp, where he will continue to enhance his academic and intellectual development alongside other top-performing students from across the country.
Kemal received his awards at the official ceremony held on June 15, 2025, at Boğaziçi University. We extend our heartfelt congratulations and deep appreciation to him for making us proud and representing our school with excellence.
