Pascal, Cayley and Fermat mathematics exams

Our High School Mathematics Department administered the Pascal, Cayley and Fermat exams on Thursday, February 23, 2023, where our students had the opportunity to compare the knowledge and skills they acquired in their lessons with the skills of their peers in different countries around the world.

These exams, which are organized by “The Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing” at the University of Waterloo in Canada and consist of different questions according to the grade level and the curriculum they are studying, aim to create a positive attitude towards mathematics lessons as well as to gain experiences that will improve their problem solving skills.

Our Math Department is going to continue to organize similar environments throughout the year since creating experience in such environments is known to promote problem solving skills and positive student attitude toward mathematics.
