Moral Dilemmas on the Big Screen | Ahlaki İkilemler Beyaz Perdede

To mark World Ethics Day on May 25th, the “Moral Short Film Project,” initiated as part of the philosophy course, has been successfully completed!
Short films written, directed, and acted by 10th grade students were screened on May 26, 2025, at Irmak Auditorium.
The aim was to encourage students to reflect on moral dilemmas, discuss them, and express their thoughts through the language of cinema. Each film became more than just a technical production—it turned into a thought, a question, a unique perspective.
The top five films were screened for both students and jury members, followed by an award ceremony in three categories: Best Poster & Editing, Best Screenplay, and Best Film.
Throughout the project, students not only developed their artistic skills, but also enhanced their critical thinking, moral awareness, and collaborative abilities.

This process offered a powerful glimpse into a generation that thinks through art and creates through questions—once again showing how deeply philosophy can touch life.
