Living With Earthquake!
As it is known, the most effective way to fight earthquakes is to be informed and fully prepared. Informed societies are more successful in minimizing the damages of earthquakes. In this context, we hosted Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet ERGİN from TUBITAK-Marmara Research Center on February 28th for a talk on “Living with the Earthquake” in order to be prepared for the earthquakes that Turkey, an earthquake country, might experience in the future. During the talk organized within the scope of Social Sciences Week, our high school students both gained earthquake awareness and had a pleasant time.
