ITU Rocks and Minerals Museum
On Wednesday, 13 December, our 10th grade students visited ITU Faculty of Mines, which brings together approximately 1,500 mineral and rock samples from various regions of our country and the world in an important study that will keep the history of nature alive. During the trip, which was planned within the scope of chemistry and geography course units, our students had the opportunity to see the concepts of elements, molecules and compounds in their state of existence in nature, and also made inferences about the effect of the formation of the earth on current events by closely examining the structures of rocks and minerals that make up the earth.
