Irmak Debate Tournament Final
The final match of the annual Irmak Debate Tournament was held on Wednesday, March 13 at the Irmak Auditorium. The teams formed by the students with the highest scores in the pre-qualifying matches between the classes held in the previous weeks debated on the topic of “HSK, All products and services for treatment and healing that have not been proven to have a greater effect than the placebo effect by testing the physical healing effect should be banned.”
Ekinsu KILIÇ, Rüya GÜRBÜZ in the opening wing of the Government; Kerem MOĞOL, Pelin YAZICIOĞLU in the closing wing of the Government; Kuzey SİPAHİ, Ceren ÇELİK in the opening wing of the Opposition; Elif UÇAR, Demir ÇOLAK in the closing wing of the Opposition competed. The juries were the Turkish Language and Literature Teachers Selin TENGİZ, Burcu Arıcan TUFAN, Yasemin AYDIN ŞEN, Seda ÖZER and Irmak Debate Team members Melek Nil Su GÜL, Esen SANALP, Nilüfer ŞİŞİK, Nehir KURT and Ela KARAYILAN. The winner was the opening wing of the opposition, while Kerem MOĞOL was the best speaker of the final match.
