Gold Medal at TÜBİTAK Science Olympiads
Within the scope of the TÜBİTAK 2202 Science Olympiads Program, our IB DP1 student Kemal Mete Akkaş achieved an exceptional success at the 33rd TÜBİTAK Science Olympiads, ranking among the top three students in Türkiye and earning a Gold Medal.
In the 2025 competition, which attracted 18,463 applicants across nine scientific disciplines, only 511 students advanced to the Second Round and Summer School. Following the highly demanding Second Round Exam held in Ankara between 11–20 December 2025, just 224 students nationwide were awarded medals. Kemal Mete Akkaş’s outstanding performance placed him among this elite group, proudly representing our school at the highest national level.
