Discover Yourself, Push Your Limits: Irmak High School Bronze Adventure and Discovery Journey
Irmak High School students successfully completed the Bronze Category Adventure and Discovery Journey held in Şile – Ulupelit Village on 23–24 October 2025 as part of The International Award for Young People Türkiye (IAYP-TR) programme.
This two-day experience enabled students to develop their self-management, cooperation, leadership and problem-solving skills in natural conditions. Participants practised finding their way using maps and compasses along walking routes, set up the campsite in a spirit of teamwork and reinforced their sense of responsibility by preparing their own meals.
During this process, students strengthened not only their physical endurance but also their values of self-discipline, solidarity, and environmental awareness. The programme was conducted under the umbrella of The International Award for Young People Turkey (IAYP-TR), which supports students’ individual development and encourages them to become lifelong learners.
During these two days spent immersed in nature, the students experienced the power of working together, the peace of a simple life, and the joy of discovering their own potential. At Irmak High School, we are proud of the determination and resolve our young people have shown on this meaningful journey.
