A Historic Achievement in Artistic Swimming by Our High School Student Ece Üngör!
Our high school student Ece Üngör competed in the Artistic Swimming World Cup held in Hurghada, Egypt, from April 11 to 13.
On April 11, in the Technical Solo Seniors category, Ece ranked 7th in the world among athletes from 31 countries—an extraordinary accomplishment. Surpassing competitors from artistic swimming powerhouses like Russia, China, and Spain marks a significant milestone not only for Ece but also for the history of Turkish swimming.
Two years ago, Ece had already made history by reaching the finals at the World Championships in Fukuoka, Japan, and finishing 10th in the world—a first in Turkish sports history. With this latest achievement, she continues to build on her historic success.
We congratulate Ece on this outstanding accomplishment and wish her continued success.
