Field Selection Presentation

A Subject Selection Seminar was conducted for Grade 10 students to support their academic orientation and contribute to making informed decisions regarding theirfuture educational pathways. Prior to the seminar, students completed the “Getting to Know Myself: Interests and Strengths in Subject Selection” form to encourage greater self-awareness.

Through this form, students were guided to recognize their areas of interest, identify their strengths, and reflect on their academic inclinations and personal characteristics. This preliminary activity aimed to ensure that the subject selection process was approached not solely in terms of academic achievement, but also in consideration of students’ individual interests, abilities, and strengths.

During the seminar, the importance of subject selection in students’ academic development and future educational goals was addressed. Key considerations in the decision-making process were discussed, with particular emphasis placed on recognizing individual interests and abilities, evaluating personal strengths, and taking future goals into account.

Through these activities, students were supported in developing greater self-awareness, exploring different academic pathways in relation to their individual characteristics, and making informed, realistic, and personally appropriate decisions throughout the subject selection process.
