IB MYP-DP Vertical Planning: Gökçeada Pastoral Education Camp
From 9 to 11 October 2026, Irmak Schools brought together IB MYP Years 3, 4 and 5 students and DP CAS students for a meaningful learning experience in Gökçeada.
Through interdisciplinary workshops focusing on sustainability, cultural heritage, nature and creativity, students strengthened their Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills and IB Learner Profile attributes while exploring connections with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Encouraging collaboration, leadership and reflection across different programme levels, the camp demonstrated the value of IB MYP-DP vertical articulation through experiential learning.
