Tolga Bare Met with Our Students
During this year’s Language Day celebrations, we were pleased to welcome author, speaker, education specialist, and voice artist Tolga BARE to our school for a special session highlighting the role of the Turkish language in our cultural heritage and national identity.
Meeting with our students at Irmak Auditorium on Wednesday, September 23, Tolga BARE led an engaging and informative discussion on the historical development of Turkish, the importance of using language accurately and effectively, and the ways in which language shapes communication and thought.
Throughout the session, BARE emphasised that language is far more than a means of communication. He drew attention to its role in preserving cultural heritage, expressing identity, and shaping the way we think, while sharing valuable insights into the expressive possibilities of Turkish.
The event encouraged our students to become more thoughtful and confident language users, expand their vocabulary, and express themselves more effectively in spoken and written communication. The session made a valuable contribution to this year’s Language Day programme.
