A New Term Begins for IAYP-TR
As part of the 2026–2027 academic year, an introductory presentation was delivered to Grade 9 students who will begin The International Award for Young People – Türkiye (IAYP-TR) at the Bronze level. During the presentation, students were introduced to the aims and overall structure of the programme, as well as the key sections of the Bronze Award: Skills, Physical Recreation, Voluntary Service, and the Adventurous Journey. Students were also informed about setting personal goals, taking responsibility, maintaining regular participation, and monitoring their personal development throughout this long-term journey.
During the 2026–2027 academic year, the Bronze, Silver, and Gold Award levels of IAYP-TR will be implemented concurrently at Irmak High School. While new participants will begin their Award journey at the Bronze level, students who have completed previous levels will continue their development through the Silver and Gold Awards. Through this progressive structure, the Award programme will continue to support students’ personal, social, and physical development while fostering responsibility, perseverance, and sustained participation across different levels.
