“Othello” Theatre Event
On Wednesday, November 20, 11DP students, watched William Shakespeare’s timeless tragedy Othello at the Caddebostan Cultural Center, accompanied by their English teachers.
Observing this work, which has been integrated into our curriculum, performed on stage has significantly enriched our students’ studies. It has particularly enhanced their ability to analyze universal themes such as human nature, jealousy, trust, and betrayal. This experience has not only deepened their understanding of the text but also reinforced the IB curriculum’s emphasis on analytical and critical thinking skills. Furthermore, as a distinctive art form that unites various artistic disciplines and offers audiences profound emotional experiences, theater has once again underscored the transformative power and enduring impact of art for our students..
