An orientation and CAS Trip was organized for our 11th Grade DP students on Friday, October 27th
On Friday, 27 October, an in-class orientation trip was organised for our 11th grade DP students to increase their motivation by doing activities together and at the same time to get to know the IBDP CAS programme better and to adapt and adopt the programme.
In order to carry out the CAS trip, which is one of the indispensable parts of the IBDP CAS programme, our students, under the supervision of DP and CAS Coordinator Rabia Yıldıran and their class teachers, DP Turkish Literature teacher Yasemin Aydın Şen, went from Bostancı to Heybeliada and spent a very cheerful, enjoyable and educational day in Değirmenburnu Nature Park. After having some snacks at the facility, our students had the opportunity to get to know each other more closely by playing volleyball and having small talks together, as well as reinforcing the development of their ATL-Social-Communication skills. Then, they contributed to the recycling of plastics by carrying out environmental cleaning, which is the service step of the trip, and raised awareness by feeding stray animals.
