“I Feel, Therefore I Am” Group Guidance

Our PDR Department conducted a group guidance study on emotion regulation, “I Feel, Therefore I Am”, with our Prep and 9th grade students. In the study, it was emphasized that there are intense emotions in the background of the thoughts arising from the events and situations we experience. It was explained that when we suppress these emotions instead of recognizing and expressing them, we may encounter emotional, mental or physical problems. According to the results of the “Emotion Regulation Scale for Adolescents” applied in the study, individual interviews will be planned by our Psychological Counseling Department and emotion regulation studies will continue.
